IRCE is an industrial group of European importance with two activity areas: conductors for electrical machinery wrapping (commonly called enamelled wire), isolated cable for power transmission. The production is located in 3 plants nationwide- Imola (BO), Guglionesi (CB) and Umbertide (PG) - and also group toghether two subsidiaries located in Holland and England. Since 1996 IRCE shares are listed on the stock exchange.

Solution


Using the Solution based on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, implemented by GN, and in particular the Self service Customer functionality, has allowed us to establish with the customers a personalized communication system.
Has been possibile to increase effectiveness of information supplied and improve efficiency of supply process with a 25% reduction in time necessary to process calls.
Consequence of such improvement has been greater customer fidelization.
The informative support of the Oracle Solution allowed the design and implementation of a traceability system that responds to strictness and quality requirements of the sector.
The availability of localizations and multilingual system allowed the implementation of a centralized information system.
