CGT, Compagnia Generali Trattori, operates more than seventy years in the construction and energy with a strong orientation services. From 1934 is Caterpillar dealer, a world leader in sales of machinery for earthmoving el'estrazione mining, diesel engines and
industrial gas turbines. CGT sells, rents and assist the full range of products CAT in north-central Italy through 26 branches, dealers compact cars, garages authorized road and engine products / energy. Challenge


Optimization of managing the human resource spread on territory, through a mobile devices and the latest comunications techology.
The principal requirements identified during the phase of analysis and design are the following:

 

  • Manages the location of the device using GPS or A-GPS
  • Can work online and offline
  • Smart monitor connection and battery
  • Multiple local database support

               - Oracle Database Lite
               - Microsoft SQLServer CE
               - Plain XML File

  • Command SMS to remote control the device
